Whether you’ve just bought your new static caravan, or you’ve been living the dream for a while, there will always be accessories that can make your life easier. We’ve put together a list of items that we think would be very useful to have.
Unless you want to buy a lot of disposable BBQs over the summer, investing in a small BBQ for your static caravan is must have. A British quirk that we all seem to share is that once the sun is out, the BBQ is on and it’s one of the most integral parts of a British summer and a lovely thing to do with all the family.
As we’re approaching the autumn season, there are still many gorgeous nights to be had sat outside taking in everything nature has to offer with a cuppa, or a glass of wine - but it can get a little chilly. If you want to splash out and have the ultimate cosy evenings with your static caravan, you could invest in a patio heater.
Travelling backwards and forwards from your static caravan to your home can be a hassle, especially if you want to bring food or drink from home. Getting a cool bag could be a great answer to keeping things cool on your travel to and from your static caravan or even for fun days out at the beach.
There is usually limited storage in a static caravan, so using vacuum bags could really save you some space. You may have duvets you want to put away when you’re not there or clothing that you don’t need all the time, whatever your needs, they are a space-saver.
Putting up some coat hooks could also save a lot of room in your static caravan’s wardrobe and is easily accessible for items that you’re going to use every day. They are one of those things that are always used when they’re up
If you have the room an outdoor storing shed could be useful, depending on how often you’re planning to visit your caravan. If you’re going to be buying tools such as a lawn mower, washing line or even somewhere to keep spare gas cannisters, a shed is the perfect solution.
This could be one of those obvious ones that just slips your mind because you don’t need daily, but obviously it’s essential to have a first aid kit stored somewhere in your caravan so you’re covered in case of an emergency.
Not only useful for any small space to ensure the damp doesn’t creep in, but also a great to leave in the caravan when you’re not occupying it.
Much needed if you frequent your static caravan in the autumnal and winter seasons: you don’t want to be causing a mess in your new holiday home. Itt also adds a nice homely touch to your front door when you arrive.
Just like at a hotel, having a hair dryer waiting for you is much easier than having to pack to bring with you, especially if you’re travelling to your static caravan often.
