We automatically include protection as standard on our park home policies for loss and damage caused by fire, storm, theft, accidental damage and escape of water. You also have the option to extend your accidental damage cover to include personal possessions.

Cover against frost damage to park home plumbing
We cover frost damage to plumbing as standard when the necessary precautions (found in our policy wording) have been taken. This covers you for frost damage to your interior boiler (if under ten years old) and fixed domestic water and heating installations.
Protection for your outdoor space
Your garden is an extension of your home, so our cover protects from theft and malicious damage including £350 contents in the open. We also include up to £750 for re-landscaping and up to £250 for any single tree, shrub or plant.

Park home emergency assistance
Have you recently moved to a new area, or are you unaware of what to do or who to call in the case of an emergency? You can choose to include homecare emergency as an additional product with your insurance policy. This cover provides a 24-hour helpline and assistance, including emergency repair services.
Park home legal expenses insurance
In the unfortunate situation of an insured event or a legal dispute occurring, this protection will cover legal costs and expenses up to £50,000 (including the cost of appeals).
Extended accidental damage park home cover
You have the option to choose to add our extended accidental damage cover on to your policy as an extra level of protection. This will cover you if you should accidentally damage anything that’s not a permanent fixture and fittings, such as carpets, furniture, and appliances.
When you need to make a claim, we'll help you through the process by putting you in contact with the insurers to get your claim settled as quickly as possible.

If you are unsure on the value of your home and contents, blanket cover protects your home and belongings inside for a set amount. Cover on our park home policies which means you will be insured up to £500,000 for the replacement of the park home and up to £75,000 for the replacement of your contents.
This also includes other aspects such as the debris removal and re-siting a new home onto your plot. You will still need to check the amount is right for your needs, especially if you have high value items. Please speak to us if the blanket sums insured values are not sufficient for your requirements.
Before getting a quote, we recommend you take time to note down the make, model, size and year of your property as you will be asked these questions when obtaining a quote. You might want to take a look around to take note of any high value items as well.
There are multiple ways to find out the make and model of your park home. This information is usually found on a plaque outside the home, alongside the serial number. Alternatively, it could be found in the boiler/airing cupboard.
Failing that, you can check with your site owner who will have record of the homes on their site, or you can check your purchase/legal documents from when you purchased your home.
Contents cover protects all the things in your home that aren't part of the structure or building. Personal possessions are items that you normally wear, use, or carry with you when you leave the home. Cover for your personal possessions is optional and can be requested when getting a quote.

We have provided a summary of the key features of a new policy above. You will also have these sent to you when taking out a policy. When you purchase your park home insurance policy, we will send you a welcome email with your policy schedule, policy wording, IPID and our terms of business. If you have requested paper versions, these documents will be sent to you in the post. If you purchased your policy after August 2019, you can also view your documents in your online portal.
If you are renewing your policy, your documents will be emailed to you in your renewal pack or available in your online portal in the ‘My Account’ section.
Your renewal information will be emailed to you before your renewal date. If you have requested a paper version, you will receive this via the post.
If you purchased your policy after August 2019, you can also view your renewal documents and make changes to your policy in your online portal in the ‘My Account’ section which will include details of what is insured and your premium for the next year. You can also call our specialist team to make any changes ahead of your renewal.
When you purchase your insurance, we will send your policy schedule in your welcome email or via post if you requested a paper copy, which you will need to retain as your proof of insurance. If you purchased your policy after August 2019, you can also view your policy schedule in your online portal.
If you choose to cancel your policy within the first 14 days, you will not be charged and a full refund will be provided, including any additional products you may have selected, as long as no claims have been made. The 14 days begin from the date your policy starts or the date you receive your documents, whichever is the latter.
If you decide to cancel your policy after the first 14 days, you will be charged, by the insurer, for the time you have been on cover and a £30 cancellation fee and our commission will be retained on a pro rata basis. Also, our customer service charge and any additional products are completely non-refundable. However, if a claim has been made, the full premium will be charged.
Our optional additional products include: Excess protection, Homecare Emergency, Legal Protection and Key Protection. Please check your documentation to confirm if you have included these products in your policy.
Yes, you can call us to inform us of any changes. Charges may apply.
Yes, you can remove your optional additional products at any time. However, you will only receive a refund of premium for these covers in the first 14 days. After the first 14 days the optional additional products are non-refundable.

If you purchased your policy after August 2019, you can view, amend and purchase your renewal in your online portal under the ‘My Account’ section.

If you would prefer to spread the cost of your policy you have the option of setting up a Direct Debit to pay your premium in monthly instalments through our preferred provider, Premium Credit Limited (PCL).

No, you need to live on a residential site to purchase our Park Home policy. If you do not live on a residential site, you may wish to get a quote on our Leisure Home policy.
Our Park Home policy is designed to cover for your permanent place of residence. If you live on a non-residential site which closes for part of the year, you could get a quote for our Leisure Home policy instead.
