Our garden centre insurance package can provide a wide range of property and liability covers, with flexible limits tailored to your horticultural business. Our bespoke product caters for mixed construction buildings including glasshouses, 24 month indemnity period for business interruption and full environmental liability cover. We automatically include £7,500 target stock and up to £5000 of refrigerated or frozen stock free of charge. Property out in the open, including stock, is covered up to £500 for any item against fire, lightning, aircraft, explosion and theft, as standard on all our policies.
We recognise that each garden centre has unique horticultural insurance requirements and we can extend our policy to incorporate cover for additional activities including cafés and restaurants, playground areas and landscaping services as well as liability towards concessions or other businesses trading from your premises.
The very nature of your business means that some times of the year you’re exceptionally busy, so we have incorporated an automatic 25% increase to your stock free of charge during the months of November, December and January and 6 weeks either side of any UK Bank Holiday. So, during the busiest times, you’ve one less thing to think about.

Yes! We can cover for many types of diversification. What’s more, we can update your policy as you grow too, so at any time, you can give us a call to make sure you’re covered, or increase, or decrease your cover as you need to.
We automatically include cover for a 25% increase in stock in November, December and January, and also around bank holidays. This does not cost you anything extra but simply means you can get on with running your business, and not have to worry during the times you’re most busy. For any other times, you can simply call to increase your sums insured limits as you need.
Work experience is a form of employment, and as such you are legally required to provide protection in the form of employers liability. Our insurance will cover all of your staff including unpaid, contracted and seasonal.
